Outdoor Christmas Planter: DIY tutorial
Last year I bought 2 amazing planters at Costco. My husband looked at me with that look of do we really need another planter. Every had that look?
So this year I decided to take the planters and make them into a Christmas planter. I love DIY and I think they turned out super cute. Let me know below if you agree.
So here’s how to take your own planter and make it into a Christmas Planter. Start with 2 planters like the ones I bought at Costco. Here’s 1 of the 2 planters I had
Next you want to spray paint things green for the Christmas feel.
You can see me actually doing this in the video. Make sure you are doing this in an open area for safety reasons.
Next add your Silver and Gold sprays and more greenery.
I also included red berries. I found sprays at Walmart and Hobby Lobby. You might even find someone on your local Facebook Marketplace who has some they aren’t using.
How many of you have planters that need new life? Let's create one.

Here’s a few picture of the Christmas Planter as I kept adding the fun sprays and picks. I also created a navy bow for the finishing touch. I love how it turned out and it looks amazing on my porch.
Here’s how to store it:
Take and use a clear plastic covering and cover it possibly even taping the bottom. Place it in a garage or storage area where the moisture can’t get to it. I would love to see your Christmas Planter. Head over to Facebook and show us your finished product.
